Rock steady beat, with good synth sounds, and a driving beat. Simple story told in a determined way. Would appeal to listeners of several different genres. Definitely worth a second, third, fouth, listen . [In Lay My Head] You have nice melodic flow and interesting percussion with great stereo production. Nice groove developes. I'm not a huge fan of industrial or electronic music usually, but I really dig this song! Really well produced and the song itself is really powerful. Nice hythm guitar sound and well-done vocals. Drums are kickin too. Nice job! --thaedeus (Divergent Future) 01.08.04 DAX has a wide vocal range and with the hard guitars, the drum beats and the strings makes for a versatile sound. DAX has a distinctive voice that sounds very good with his arrangements. His music has a bit old rock with a dash of industrial, making a nice combination. It's a disc that will get under the listener's skin on each play. Fan Reviews: 09.05.05 I, personally, enjoyed this CD a great deal. My son has snagged it many times and enjoys it as well. I find the diversity of the music to be wonderfully refreshing as opposed to the CDs that seem to be more and more in the market where you aren't certain if you are still listening to the same song or if a new one has started. This CD has a great blend of styles and a unique approach to mixing. Overall, I'd say it's a great buy. And, unlike the reviewer above, I actually like the cover. DreamGirl 05.30.05 From a Personal Standpoint, I love the beginning of Lay my Head….very creative. Pros are the singer has a great voice and appears to be hot.
